正好看到，就裝了這玩意：

Fasterfox 以 extension 的形式發行，在首頁上列舉了下列強身健魄的神奇功效：

Prefetch Links
Dynamic speed increases can be obtained with Firefox’s unique prefetching mechanism, which recycles idle bandwidth by silently loading and caching all of the links on the page you are browsing.

Tweak Network
Fasterfox allows you to tweak many network and rendering settings such as simultaneous connections, pipelining, cache, DNS cache, and initial paint delay.

Block Popups
A popup blocker for popups initiated by Flash plug-ins is also included.

雖然說應該只是把預先設定好的值寫進 about:config 裡而已(這也是「我猜」)，不過裝完之後，可能是心理作用吧，感覺我的Firefox好像有快了那麼一些些，尤其是在區網裡，看有大量圖片的網頁時，出圖的速度好像快多了。

照上面說，我選的 Turbo Charged Option 有個Note: “increases load to web servers”。web servers? 我是 client 耶，這個問題讓遠方不知名的師程工們擔心就好了 XD

改天換個小水管環境試試，不過我「猜」改進的效果應該有限。
